You know those nights when you feel all vampy and ferosh and suddenly a nice soft smoky eye won't do? That's when you've got to take it up a notch into "mega-smoky" territory. Here are a couple of examples:

1) Audrina Patridge’s purple-tinged version:
Let’s just look past the false eyelashes for a second, because if you’re like me, there’s no way you’re bothering with them for just another night out. But it appears that she’s got a ring of black liner along her inner rims and a black shadow dusted up to the crease on the outer half of her eyes. Then she’s got a soft grape-y purple along the liner underneath her eyes and blended up into her browbone on top.2) Vanessa Hudgens’ silvery smoky makeup:
This is the more hardcore out of the two. Basically, all you’d have to do to copy it is line your eyes with a black liner and then dust a dark almost-black gray on your lids up to the crease. Then drag a silvery-white shade into up around into the inner corners of your eyes trace the edge of the line on your lower lids.

What a perfect color! I love beets, and this polish really mimics their super-saturated pigment. It's similar to those bright pink polishes we've been loving, only slightly more moody and complex, and better for wearing on your fingers as well as your toes (it's a little quieter and more work-appropriate). I think it just might be my new gray.

When it comes to applying fake eyelashes, there’s kind of a chicken-and-egg scenario in terms of when to add eyeliner. “You could ask a hundred makeup artists and they’d all have a different answer,” said Jane Iredale lead makeup artist Kevin Mendelson. But if I were you, I’d us his application method as a guide, as the models he dolled up at Catherine Holstein had lashes that could rival those of any Hollywood screen siren. His recipe for fake eyelash success, after the jump.

For the most realistic look, skip the one lash strip in favor of pieces with just a few faux strands. Then, wait until after you apply all lashes before layering on the eyeliner. “I like going in after with a liquid liner to fill in any gaps between the natural line and the fake eyelash,” says Mendelson. The result is a cool, crisp look that draws attention to pretty peepers. So cute!

I have been CRAZZZY busy lately! I went to LA to get supplies for the FSU Fashion show and now I'm tryin go put everything together! Business cards, display ideas... Design the jewelry pieces for the models.... plus my jewelry to sell at my booth! Along with that contemplating accepting the invite to do the Fashion Style Lounge a few days after! I have 3 stores wanting my jewelry along with B.B. Pepper interested and wants my catalog! So many things are falling into place! Please pray for me as I take these next steps as a jewelry designer! Pumpkin Facial

One of Audrina Patridge's Beauty Secrets is PUMPKIN! "It is so good for your skin because it is full of antioxidants and vitamins. Here is a recipe for a pumpkin mask and a pumpkin spice scrub for you guys to try that I found at care2.com." Try them and let me know what you think!

Pumpkin Facial Mask
2 teaspoons cooked or canned pumpkin
1/2 teaspoon honey
1/4 teaspoon milk (or whipping cream, if your skin is very dry)

1. Combine ingredients and apply to a clean face with gentle circular motions, avoiding the area around your eyes.

2. Allow mask to remain on skin for 10 to 15 minutes, then rinse with warm water, pat dry, and apply your usual moisturizer.

Pumpkin, Sugar, and Spice Scrub
1/2 cup cooked or canned pumpkin, pureed
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1. Combine ingredients in a bowl.

2. Stand in a tub or shower stall and use a damp washcloth to scoop some of the mixture up. Apply to body, starting with your feet and working your way up, but avoiding your face. Scrub gently using circular motions.

3. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.

Critics are having a field day over news that the "Mean Girls" star is launching a line of self-tanner.

"Why do a self-tanner? Aren't there enough out there?" asked the Los Angeles Times.

"She's that desperate for money and attention," one blogger asked, while another joked that the line would come in various shades, including "Radioactive."

But naysayers be darned. It actually ... works.

Yes, Lindsay's known as a party-loving actress - not a chemist - and yes, she named the product after her favorite numbers which seemingly have nothing to do with tanning.

But Lohan's Sevin Nyne tanning mist, co-created with tanning expert Lorit Simon, can turn even a self-tanning skeptic into a believer with its natural color, yummy coconut scent and even-a-dummy-can-do-it spray application.

And that's the point, Simon says.

"You just spray and go - it's easy," she said.

Sevin Nyne took a year and a half to perfect, with Lohan serving as a (bronzed) guinea pig for different formulas.

"Lindsay has been a part of this every step of the way," Simon said. "I don't think I could do this without her."

Simon and LiLo are banking on the spray's natural color, airbrush-style applicator and caramel-infused formula to help Sevin Nyne rise above the competition. Interested? Put aside time to do it right.

And for God's sake, don't fiddle with it a half hour after applying.

Slighty streaky elbow pits are an unfortunate side effect when you spray 'n' run, as are spotty cheeks when eye drops accidentally miss the mark, leaving an untanned blur in their wake. Ahem.

But these are common issues with this sort of product, as any tan fan will tell you. And, somehow, Sevin Nyne manages to self-correct the color over time - even for klutzy, tan-ologically challenged users.

At $35 a pop, it ain't cheap to wear LiLo, but the price falls on the fiscally manageable end of similar products (Mystic Tan's mist runs for $38; Guerlain's is $59).

Fans eager to tan like Lindsay will get their shot on April 15, when Sevin Nyne is available at Sephora.com.

The mist hits Sephora stores on May 1.

To complement Thakoon's travel-and-leisure-inspired collection, Aveda key stylist Eugene Souleiman gave the models what he calls "convertible hair"—it was meant to look as if they had curled and styled their hair, and then gotten some natural tousle from taking a ride with the top down.

Do the prep work for this style the night before and sleep on it. Part damp hair down the middle and put it in two pigtails. Spray the tails with hairspray, and then divide each pigtail in half and coil the pieces together tightly to form a rope. Then secure the ends with elastics and pin them to your head, allowing your hair to air dry overnight.

If you don't have time to let your hair air dry completely in the coils, use a blow-dryer on a warm setting to speed up the process.

When hair is completely dry, take down the coils and flip your head over to loosen up the waves. Apply a matte texturizing powder to your roots for added volume and work it down towards your ends.

NOW GET TO IT and get your sexy on! Your man will be thanking you! And IF you don't have a hunk... go find one! You'll be turning heads with this hair!
