For the most realistic look, skip the one lash strip in favor of pieces with just a few faux strands. Then, wait until after you apply all lashes before layering on the eyeliner. “I like going in after with a liquid liner to fill in any gaps between the natural line and the fake eyelash,” says Mendelson.
